bottle from World of Beer - I must admit I enjoyed this one more then I thought I would - oak and ciderlike but not not sour (I thought it would be). I enjoyed reading about the brewing process on this one too - I will drink more Gueuze for sure

Bottle - 375ml. Hazy amber body with low carbonation and an average off-white foamy head. Nice hoppy aroma with herbal and fruity notes. Taste is well balanced and sourness is not too agressive. It carries fruity, bready and malty hints. Ends with a decent sour finish. Average Gueuze.

Orange, moderate head. The aroma is musty, sourish and fruity. The mouthfeel is middle and the flavour is slightly sweet and slightly fruity-acidic med musty barnyard notes. My first gueze, but since then I have grown to like them.

Attractive light tan brown - nice. Expressive nose of smoke and sour grapes. Good presence. Palate packs in plenty - sour fruits, old vinous notes, maybe a sherry touch, and a tart finish that doesn’t dominate. A layer of sweetness kicks in late, giving the impression that there’s a touch of dosage included. (e2.50 @ Trappist House Gent)

This had a nice aroma, very fruity and sweet. It was a little sweet, but not too sweet, which I like. I found this more enjoyable than the Apple one, not bad overall.

(Bottle) pours light hazy orange. Aroma of wood, apples and some vinegar with hints of grain. Flavour is to sweet for my taste. Sweet with vinegar and some salt. Dry wood. Small to medium body.
