| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 9, 2006 4% bottle, at the Hopdevil in Zagreb Poured a nice ice tea like slightly misty dark orange colour, tiny head that went fast. A faint nose... lemony acidity and brett. The taste... as expected, like a lighter version of the Cuvée René, but as good as that. Not all that acidic in my opinion, astringent, bretty funkiness, lemony (maybe some apples) and maybe a touch of maltiness. Not assertive but quite pleasant. I’d have it again. Umm... contains acesulfame k... ok, that’s safe, but why an artificial sweetener ? demitriustown (702), Shelby Township, Michigan, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 27, 2006 Aroma of dry white wine, apples quite sour, light fruits (grapes) and nice and spicy. Appearance is a cloudy brownish color almost looks like apple cider with a minimal off white head. Very nice sour apple taste that quickly diminishes and is quick. No discernible hop characteristics, but this is really good. Palate is nice and light, carbonated, and somewhat sour. Overall, This is pretty good stuff definitely worth the price tag. moejuck (1165), Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2006 This gueze pours a light golden color with a small white head. The aroma is funky and sour with some vinegar aromas. Palate is medium bodied and nice. Flavors are smooth, but not extremely sour. Plenty of oak hints and sweetness. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 13, 2006 Hazy golden yellow body with a small white head. Fairly sweet fruity aroma. (6+) Very restrained lemon-lime citrus ascidiy with fairly sweet sugary notes at times. Average palate. Drinkable. Quixote18 (230), Johnson City, Tennessee, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Sep 9, 2006 Served from bottle to tulip glass, this strange brew was a hazy amber color with a minimal white head. Very carbonated. Yeasty, funky, wet dog aroma, with maybe a little skunk. Flavor was earthy and a little sour. Maybe I had a bad bottle...maybe this isn’t representative of the style...maybe this is how it’s supposed to be. Either way, I won’t be drinking this one again.
