Had the other night from bottle. It was good, interesting sweet/sour contrast, moderate acidity,, nice mouthfeel, yeasty, somewhat funky. I kinda thought of it as a starter Gueze.

poured a nice hazy amber orange with a nice frothy white to off white head that quickly dispersed with almost no lacing. had a semi-sweet straw/grass amora with a mild white grape scent. the flavor is nicely refreshing being mostly tart and sweet. on the palate it was light bodied with a fizzy carbonation that left a semi-dry feel, almost like a sweet champagne. again like the flavor, the feel on the palate was quite refreshing. over all it was quite good, but with a difficult as it was to find i rather just stick with the more common framboise or even the (easy for me to find) cassis lambics.

Pours a dark, golden color with standard, spritzy froth. Smells of salted citrus. Medium nectar with ample residual effers. Flavors of salt, citrus, and oak. Overall: you can have it.

Bottle. Dark gold pour with a foamy white head. Sweet and sour nose. Lovely white lace. Flavor is somewhere between a dry hard cider and a brut. Nice soft mouthfeel. Enjoyed it very much!

Bottled. Clear dark orange pour, lively carbonation evident, short white head. Big time sour, slightly metallic nose. Soft mouthfeel, sugary sweetness mixed with the lighter-than-advertised sourness. Not overly sour, I did enjoy this. Good one, not amazing.

A nice though somewhat sticky sweetness. Sour and sweet. Attractive soapy bubblehead and good lace on an orange body. Fruit and malt aroma. Easy mouthfeel and drinkability from maltiness more than acidity. Medium mouthfeel. Sampled at Cole’s Belgian fest.

A clear orange beer with a nice white head, from a quite high carbonation, but the bottle has aged for some years. The aroma is nicely sour with notes of wood, oranges, and some berries. The flavor is quite sour at first, but then somehow gets a stint of sweetness with notes of oranges, wood, and mold, before the acidity gains in power again towards the end with notes of metal and vinegar. Nice one - thanks to Jesper from Brygshoppen.dk for supplying me with this one.

From bottle. Orange pour with white head. Sour, yeasty nose. Flavor of sour apple and champagne. Light, crisp and dry finish. Nice.
