I always have some around my house, though due to price concerns I do not allow myself to drink through it very fast. Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer pours a dark golden amber color with a large creamy white head and a decent amount of sediment. The aroma is very sour, tart, and vaguely fruity. The flavor is very sour, tangy and tart. There is a mild underlying sweetness. There is a decent fruity flavor though distinct fruits are not noticeable. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 29, 2004 A thin white head and a light golden brwon body. The aroma is funky barnyard with a little light fruit. Apples, pears and some lemon peels in the smell. The taste is lemonade with a sweet honey and sugary finish. There is a hint of dry cobwebs. Lots of carbonation. This is too sweet. The soda of gueuzes. larsniclas (3386), Gothenburg, Sweden

Dark tan color - clear with decent, quick collapsing head. Tart sweet cherry and apple flavor - slight hint of vinegar - crisp and acidic. On the non-traditional side of the lambic debate. macguy (144), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

I’m a fan of gueuze and while, if I lived in Belgium, I’d probablly not drink this often, it’s the best I can find over here. It’s just sour enough (in a good way) but too sweet for my tooth. pantani (1901), Salinas, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2004 Very very sour tart aroma. Body is a foggy light amber color with a lasting bubbly white head. Taste is too sweet and not tart enough for the style. Very drinkable though. Lemon and Grapefruit. BeerandBlues2 (3216), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
