Clear golden, lasting white head. Musty sweet aroma, with the malt being dominant. Flavor is more sweet than tart, but smooth. Full body. Very drinkable. The Gueze for the non-lambic person. Aroma of malt, citrus, white vinegar, citric acid, vomit (butyric acid), and Niagara wine. Tastes malty, with some hops, Niagara wine, chardonnay, and white grapes. I did not find this sour, rather very winey and refreshing. Very smooth palate. If this is a low end gueuze, imagine what happens once I start drinking the great gueuzes!! I’ll be like a calculus nerd in an adult video store! Very nice style! Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England

Almost as sweet as their faro and this is supposed to be gueuze? I notice the ingredients label says it contains artificial sweetner. Why oh why? 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 8, 2004 Bottle pours a slightly hazy dull orange, large white frothy head, good carbonation, with attractive lacing.   Tart aroma, slightly yeasty, a bit musty... almost champagne like.   Forwardly tart, but then immediately sweet.   Good body and mouthfeel.   Finishes with a good balance between tartness and sweetness.   Pretty tasty!

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2004 Poursa cloudy beige hue with a small, frothy yellow head. Flavors of apple cider and apples and more apples. Not overly tart, and the yeast funk is very mellow in this one. A perfect gueuze for people that haven’t had one before. zach8270 (2103), Henrietta, New York, USA

Sugary aroma mixed in with a very tart, apply and almost champagne like note. Very sweet and tart flavor that reminds me very much of champagne. Very sugary and refreshing. Definitely not what I expected from my first gueuze lambic. mongkut4 (132), Florida, USA

Sort of the wine coolers of beer. This was a refreshing surprise. Very well balanced between sweet and tart. omhper (12224), Stockholm, Sweden

pale amber, clear, near no head.Arpma of apples and crystalized sugar. Sweet and juicy, still with soft mouthfeel and some depth. There is just over a hint of citric acidity. Fresh, and in good condition like this a highly refreshing drink. You can tell that somewhere under the sweetness this is actually based on quality lambic.
