A starter gueuze, but pleasant. Copper color, head fizzed out immediately. Sweet apple aroma, very faint horseblanket in the back. Flavor starts with a sweet mixture of light horseblanket, followed by a clear wood note, and an apple oriented sweet fruity finish. Just a touch of tartness as well. This was very nice with the apple pie a la mode.

Amber body with faint head. I'm not a fan of gueuze but this wan't bad. Intense tart fruitiness to the nose. Body was light to meduim and slightly creamy for a gueuze. Flavor was shaply tart but not so much as other gueuze I've tasted. So far, the only one of its kind that I found drinkable.
7/6/04: Tried this again. Liked it. Probably the only gueuze that I've truly enjoyed.

I kind of like these lambics, and I kind of don't like them. They are sour, and thin. But they have something special in the acidity.

355mL bottle.
Very bubbly golden body with a thin fizzy white head. Very appley aroma, has FAINT tart notes. The mouthfeel is very light. Tastes like a sweet white wine sparkler with an apple skin sour finish. Doesn't have a very interesting flavor.

I do not like lambics at all, but this one is not to bad. Very light in body and apple it taste. Almost wine-cooler in quality.

The first thing I noticed with this beer was its beautiful frothy white head puffing up so wondrously upon my pouring it. The next thing I noticed was its awonderbly smelling astuteness of acuity of tartness of a smell. Then I took in its fullness of flavour, its complex but comforting palate of molasses, tart apples, with an oaky-like feel to it. Maybe this world is not so bad after all... This beer is better than your average beer. Earthy frothy goodness with a certain spritzed up lambicness to it. It makes me smile. = ) Its pleasing effervescence is one of its most appealing attributes. = )

355mL bottle, no date (looks pretty new). Nice pale gold with some light brass hues. Towards the end of the bottle, with the sediment, it takes on a fully hazy appearance with multiple distinct colors making it look like there are two different liquids in there. Quite cool. Good large off-white head. Aroma is quite nice, light green apples, some soft, medium ripe farm cheese, light hay and big sour yeasty goodness. Aroma lasts too. Begins with a moderately tart hops bite followed by a sugary sweet medium body. Tapers off in to a lightly bitter finish with some lingering sticky sweetness, like a sweet and sour fruit chew. Flavor is quite sweet for a gueuze and I will admit to wanting more tartness. Seems very very young, though the body only being medium makes me wonder how long you could realistically age this for. Good mouthfeel, as with most lindeman products, bottle conditioned carbonation provides for just the right amount of zing to balance out the malt sweetness. Wheat adds an interesting neutral papery texture, but is not that noticeable.

Brilliant golden with a large foamy gueuze head that diminishes quickly leaving lots of lacing. Lemon juice sour nose with notes of cut grass and hay. Light bodied, spritzy, and refreshing. Very mild for a gueuze. Slightly earthy. Quite nice.
