Bottle. Aroma of yeast, citrus and just a hint of cherries. Beautiful red colour with pink head. Sour flavour with citrus and a dry aftertaste. The cherries are almost completely hidden.

Bottled at 3rd Brugs BF. Deep reddish purple colour, reddish pink head. Aroma of wine, cherries, almonds, sour funk. Flavour is extremely sour, dry, bit of cherries, sour finish. Light to medium bodied. Way way way too sour for me.

(Bottle) Deep red colour with brief, foamy, pink head. Fruity, sourish nose with cherries, bitter almonds and a touch of stable and yeast. Fruity, tart taste with notes of cherries, raspberries, almonds, stable and a touch of rose petals. Medium body, prickly carbonation. Dry finish with a well balanced, refreshing sourness. A lot better than the sweetened beers from Lindemans, but there’s still some way to go to reach the complexity of Drie Fonteinen, Hanssen, De Cam and their likes. Nice one though.

Poured a deep red. Nose was beautiful. Lactic sourness, funk, sour cherries, musty cellar, red wine vinegar, merlot notes, earthiness. Flavor is mouth wateringly sour, earthy, dirty, musky, funky all mixed with some sweet and sour cherries. Gem!

75 cl bottle Aroma is wooden with hints of citrus. Flavor/palate has got a lot of sour in it, a sour as in vinegar and lime, with a little bitterness, resembling Rodenbach. Very very nice beer.

Great deep red color, with a weak flavor and aroma that is lacking in any noticable cherry characteristics. Bottle from Ryan Blanksi’s Sourfest- Hollywood, Florida.
