Bottle at PIB. Deep red pour, thick pink head. Aroma is huge cherry, vinous notes, light wood. Flavor is much the same, a little sweeter than I was expecting, but very fruity and flavorful with a nice light wood finish. By leaps and bounds the best Lindemans product I’ve ever had.

Bottle thanks to giarscr. Pours with a pink head over a hazy bloody color. Aroma of cassis, red wine and cherry. Taste is tart and funky with notes of cork, cherry and medicine. Very nice. Light bubbles.

Sour cherry and chalk nose, actually a bit like a cantillon kriek smell, but rather vivid with the cherry...bright ted color and nice pink head. Dry, somewhat medicinal cherry flavors..like sour candy this one. Nice.

Blood red. Bright. Pink head. Pedio nose with light cherry and some barrel wood. Refreshing and tart, with a smooth cherryish, woody character. Tannic finish. Nice, well-balanced kriek, where the cherry accents rather than overpowers.

750ml corked and capped bottle from Duncan Murray Wines, 5.3%. Octo took one sip of this and crinkled her nose up so I had to drink the lot. Pours burgundy with an outrageous pink fizz of a head collapsing in seconds. Nose of mildew, vinegar, chlorine, horse, musty cellars, slight cheese and sharp acidic fruit. The acidity is puckering but not heartburn-inducing; drinks tart and tanging with an approachable balance of edgy fruit and brie rind dankness like a mellow but authentic lambic, Drie Fonteinen maybe. Would never have identified the cherries blindfolded, but it’s no bad thing. Carbonation bright and tingling. Wish I had another bottle.

Bottle @ WSF. Pure red, clear, with pink head. Gorgeous marachino cherry aroma and lots of wood. A mature bouquet. Nice palate. Carbonation level is good. Dry, tart, and delicious. Great blend of subtle cherries and dry lambik. Lovely!

(Bottle - 0.75 l , 2006 vintage - at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-05-29) Red cherry colour and lhazy. Medium sized almost pink head. Cherries and farm house in aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with little carbonation. Sourness, cherries, berries, wood, light bitterness, cherry stones, fruitiness and lightly vomit in taste. Sourness and cherries in aftertaste.
