| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Oct 5, 2007 From ygtbsm94. Beautiful dark pink color with a pinkish-white small head. Cannot see through the beer at all. Aroma is almost pure Gueuze Cuvée René, which is great because I love that beer. Barnyard, funky, and a strong acidity that really makes the beer sour but without going into Cantillon out of this world area. I feel the acidity on my nose. Upon tasting the beer hits you with such a dryness the comes some light rubber and a strong acidity that’s all a very herbal dry sourness. Then there is just a faint kick of sweetness that may be coming from the cherries at the end of the flavor. But that’s about it, really seems like al the cherries did was provide the color. 750mL cap and cork bottle, Rodenbach Gran Cru tulip glass, thanks again Brad. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA

Smells of buttery cherries. Taste combines sourness with some excellently blended cherries. I wish all of their beers were this good! TEJA (297), Stockholm, Sweden
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 10, 2008 This beer we had on a sampling with fellow beer geeks. We were divided in two aboute this beer. I for one loved this. It has a big, but short pink foam. The typical kriek aroma. Followed by a dry, crisp taste with a perfect acidity. A few of my fellow beer geeks thought that the cherries were to dominant and the acidity was to much and wanted to pour it away. I and another beer judge had to sacrefice ourself and finnsih the bottle. hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 23, 2009 Bottle… Pre-C&P’sLYFO Throwdown… Cloudy caramel-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma isn’t big on cherries, but offers plenty of funky cheese, horse blanket, worn leather and wood. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. The flavor is imperially sour with only the faintest hint of cherries. Crisp, tart, clean, bone-dry finish. Thanks to miketd for sharing his bottle with the crew at redlight redlight! | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 21, 2009 Courtesy miketd. Dark red with a light pinkish white head. A ton of funky brett, plenty of tartness, tannic cherry skins, and just a touch of cherry juice sweetness, maybe less than a touch. My biggest complaint with most fruit lambics is they tend to be too sweet, definitely not a problem with this one. Dry, funky, sour kriek. One of the best krieks I’ve had.
