| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 13, 2009 Bright purple red with a frothy pink head. Aroma is cherry with crabapple, and a slight woodiness. Taste is heavy cherry, and VERY sweet. Cloying, but only slightly medicinal. If you know what you’re getting it isn’t half bad. petematte46 (225), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 6, 2009 Poured red, with pink head. Big cherry aroma. Very sweet, cherry flavor. Slight sourness. Kind of tasty, but in that wine cooler way. The first taste is good, but when you get to the end, you never want it again. MrPickles (118), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 2, 2009 Bottle, this was my first Lambic, but it helped that I knew what I was getting. Pours a dark deep red, with a thin pinkish head. It has a very sweet aroma, but I can’t get away from a cheap generic cough drop impression. The touch of vinegar was pointed out to me, and although I did not pick up on it myself I could not deny it. Flavor is all cherries, with a fizz to it that reminds one of a wine cooler. Like I said this is my first Lambic, so it is hard for me to compare the style, but it has a cool refreshing feel that’s works, but definitely not for everyone. madvike (326), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | May 1, 2009 Bottle - Pours ruby red with very little head. The color looks like something out of a comic book -- it’s bright and a little surreal. Aroma is pleasing, but in an almost artificial way. There’s strong cherry cough drops, apple juice, and a little vinegar. Taste is sweet, cloying cherries with grapes, melon, and cherry cough syrup. It goes down a little too easy, with pleasant carbonation and a smooth body. A decent sweet treat, but not the most complex lambic around. BMan1113VR (2884), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Bottle. Pours with a fluffy, pink head and a hazed red body. Aroma of syrup, cotton candy, throat lozenges, sugar, cherry, wax candle and a bit of must. Taste is cloyingly sweet, slightly metallic, sickly sweet artificial sweetener, cherry, syrup and cough medicine. Some how both fizzy and viscous. Horrible excuse for a beer. angrypirate06 (773), Texas, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 27, 2009 Bottle. Pink head. Dark red body. Aroma of cough syrup, cotton candy, cherries, sugar, soylent green. Flavor is sugar, cherry, Cepacol, sugar, sugar, sugar. Good God. Fanta with alcohol added. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 22, 2009 Bottle Pours a dark red with a pink head. The head has average lastability and laces pretty well. Aroma is of cherries. I wish I could elborate more but cherries is the overpowering scent. Has a good carbination. The mouthfeel is sweet. This is first time I have had this style. It is sweet but not bad. It may not be all I am looking for but it is good. Has a good finish. A light body. Has more of a soda taste than beer. But that may be the style. Its okay and would be good for some dates...
