The flavor is also dominated by cherries, but on a woody background and hints of sourness. It is only hints of the wild fermentation - and that is a little sad. Drink it cold as an apperitif - but don't expect a real lambic from this beer. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Very pretty, deep red colour with a lovely pink head. Pronounced cherry in the nose - apparently with no less than 25% fruit (both whole cherries and cherry juice). Rather sweet and cherry-flavoured with an underlying tartness from the Lambuc. Unfortunately also with artificial sweeteners and aroma. Shame on you. 260603

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Bottle, 3.5%. Sweet, very fat cherry aroma. Clear dark red colour. Small pink head. The flavour is quite sweet with a distinct cherry note. Quite a lot of cherry bubble gum. OK tartness that tries to balance off the sweetness. Not sour enough, but making it drinkable and even enjoyable. oh6gdx (9047), Vasa, Finland
