I fell in love with kriekenlambics and this was probably the best one. Notes say: Nutty, Cherry, hints of cherry stone pillows, really well balanced, my god this is a good beer. oberabcbbsok (686), Hoboken, Belgium

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 24, 2003 (For good understanding: this is the draught beer, not having had the final blending for refermentation on the bottle. It was however sweetened all the same...)
Deep-dark Burgundy colour. No head. Almondy nose; sweet cherry drops, artificial. taste is better than the nose/ reminiscent of the cherry-stones. Strange, as he uses 'juice' (i.e. concentrated and then diluted fruitjuice), and still too sweet. Cloying mouthfeel; medium-bodied, no tartness. It wouldn't be bad without this artificial sweet cherryflavour. And that's exactly what it makes popular...
