Spontanious weekend 07. I fell in love with kriekenlambics and this was probably the best one. Notes say: Nutty, Cherry, hints of cherry stone pillows, really well balanced, my god this is a good beer.

Aroma: tart cherries, stems and leaves, some pits, some earthiness and minerals, some smokiness and meatiness
Appearance: dark red
Flavor: cherries, tart but filling like pie filling, some smokiness, some minerals, some pits and stems, some medicine
Palate: filling and smooth--sugary sweet like pie, nice tartness

WOSF 07’ Hazy bright red in the glass. Strong cherry pit, acid, cherry juice and blackcurrant in both the aroma and flavour. The flavour also carries some almond and funk. Softer in sharpness in the otherwise clean finish. Extremely nice.

Bloody colour. Woody, light vinegar aroma. Fresh, vibrant acidity. Woody. Well-balanced character, robust & vinous. A stellar example.

Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2008. Deep blood merlot red color and still in the glass. Pungent bloody red grapes and balsamic vinegar in the nose, even resembles steak to some degree. Flavor is heavy red wine, rich syrah even, with a deep, developing sourness and a rich, sour and puckery texture. Probably one of the most sour lambics sampled at the WSF.

Slightly hazy deep red with no head. Fresh berry aroma, cherry and also a hint of blackcurrant. Dry and tart, lots of fresh sour cherry flavour, and a hint of wood.

Tap@SpontaneousWeekend08. Sweet cherry aroma. Very dark red color, like a glass of fine wine, no head. Sweet, lots of cherries, light sourness, marzipan. Very full and soft mouthfeel. Like a nice easy red wine. Yummy!

Dark burgundy with no head. Sour aroma with cherries and almond notes. Flavor has sweet overripe cherries, almond, barnyardy and sour notes into the finish.
