Bhops (329), Dallas, Texas, USA Nov 1, 2009 Bottle. Murky orange pour, with minimal head. Aroma is peach and cream. Flavor is peach, but a little more going on than just peach. Somebody mentioned peach pit and that is definitely there. Nice creaminess. Good lambic. floydian1 (255), FNQ, Australia Oct 24, 2009 Corked and capped 37.5cl green bottle (expiry Feb 2011) into a Trappist glass. Pours hazy orange with a small but very stable white head that provides decent lacing. Aroma of bread and subdued peaches. Taste is sickly sweet peach syrup up front leading to a tiny hit of lambic tartness on the mid palate before finishing with a faint hint of mangos for some reason. It is light-medium bodied with average carbonation. OK, it is a fruit beer but it is still far too sweet for my liking. l1br4r14n (274), Washington, Washington DC, USA Oct 22, 2009 Fruity and sweet up front, with a fair amount of tart, some earthiness and a touch of funk in the finish. Nice peach lambic, not overly sweet but nicely balanced. Yum! dkachur (2313), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Oct 16, 2009 Sample from a bottle at Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear pale amber color with a medium head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of peach, peach pit, a slight earthiness and a hint of funk. Taste is fresh and candied peaches with a tart finish. Fairly sugary. Medium bodied. presario (2953), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 15, 2009 Big pop from the cork but minimal carbonation and only faint ghost of a head. Almost a dark gold colour. Fair aroma of meaty peaches with a hint of cheese at the edge. Sweet but not cloying, sour middle and gentle finish. Lots of fruit taste and lots of sweetness. I like these. Pleasant and cool to share as an apertif. Tranquillity (1165), Espoo, Finland Sep 30, 2009 Wonderful aroma, buckthorn and peach and even some mango. Paler colour than I expected, with a tiny white head. Very good, although and excessive sugary and sour flavour pulls through. Sour finish. JAXSON (229), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 28, 2009 Updated: Oct 4, 2009Bottled, pours a turbid deep copper orange with a sizable head. Nose is some sour oak and canned peaches, not bad. Extremely sweet flavor compared to every other lambic I’ve tried, though it tastes kind of good. Not fresh peaches but canned peaches and syrup. Ultimately this is candy-like and is way too sweet for me to drink a whole bottle. Better than the Framboise and Cassis.
