| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 5, 2009 Mini-magnum that has been lurking in the fridge for a great while. Nose is sweet something with a hint of apricots or peach...fades fast. A deep golden with sparse carbonation. nearly instantaneously fading lacing. first thru last taste is syrupy sweet(nearly overbearing) peachy liqueur. Pass TheHulk (154), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 3, 2009 Lambics are usually like a rollercoaster and this one is too. The smell mostly remids me of the medicinal properties of cough syrup and that artificial peach drink in the round bottle that you see everywhere but no one actually drinks. Maybe its apricot. Is a medium light yellow with distinct redness. This really is too sweet and akin to drinking cough syrup. It’s not as thick, but is almost as sweet I think. Peach flavour is hard to find with all that sweetness. After the sweet bomb goes off there is some carbonation and flavours going on but that sweetness is really hard to get over. Much to high and low to be really good, I just can’t finish this one. The rest is getting the drain. Each time I bring the glass back to my mouth and smell it I cringe. This is like a really elaborate prison brewing system with fruit as flavour, or at least thats what the taste yeilds! scooterbub (386), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 30, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Taste is of peaches and sugar. Taste is rather sweet and comes off as artificial. Reminds me of those peach flavored gummy candies. Slightly tart and a little sour. Really tingles the tongue. Slight peach aroma. Good, but way too sweet for me. BrotherGrendel (610), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Light orange hue, no discernible head, very cloudy. Nose is peaches and light fruits, light malts, slight tartness. Flavor is mostly peach fruit with a hint of sour tartness throughout, other light fruits and citrus linger in the sweet finish. Medium body, light carbonation, thick syrupy texture. A decent fruit lambic that is long on peach flavor and on the lighter side of sour/tart, I’ve had better offerings in this style. brenn79 (212), Idaho, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Nov 28, 2009 12 oz. bottle- Pours orange with little head, aroma is of peach. The flavor is very drinkable, probably the most drinkable beer i’ve ever had, I could chug this stuff. This is my favorite of the Lindemans Lambics, I am suprised of the percentile this beer got on this website, it deserves higher. poisoneddwarf (222), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA
| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Nov 23, 2009 12 oz bottle. Boquet stuffed to the brim with peaches. Pours golden with a medium head, nice lacing. Explosion of tart peaches in the mouth. Very sour. This beer is so bursting with flavor, along with my love of all things sour, I can’t help but give it a high ranking. This has always been my favorite of Lindeman’s lambics. Head and lacing disappear completely towards the bottom of the glass. This is this beer’s only flaw. Rciesla (3845), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2009 Bottle. Pours a crimson orange body with a white peach head. Aroma is peach y light wood and some tart fruit juice and skins. Fully wheat body with a peachy tartness. A nice refresher. coldmeat23 (233), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 11, 2009 Pours a golden honey color under a nice white head. Looks like a beer in the most general sense of the term. (You could walk around a frat party and no one would know you weren’t binge-ing from the swill in the keg.)
Definite sweetness in the nose. Peaches and white grapes.
Taste is fresh peaches covered in light honey. Perhaps soaked in Muscat Canelli wine. Light, crisp and refreshing.
Creamy feeling in the mouth. Nicely carbonated.
Great for porch drinking on a hot summers evening. Very satisfying.
