Commercial Description:
Lindemans Tea Beer is a lambic beer brewed with barley malt, wheat and hops. A spontaneous fermentation and maturation on tea leaves results in an artisanal tea-flavoured beer. Adding lemon juice we become a surprising "sweet-sour" lemon taste. Drink it icecold.

An unclear orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet acidic with fruity notes. The flavor is sweet and slightly acidic, but also with fruity notes.

Bottled. Hazy amber coloured. Nasty candy aroma. Cloyingly sweet soft drink flavour. Disgusting.

(Bottled) Clear amber color with almost no head. Slightly sour, sweet-sugary aroma of tea and berries. Sweet-sourish flavor with apple juice and some tea hints. Light to medium-bodied with quite low carbonation. A very sweet "lambic", but not a disaster. Maybe quite drinkable for serious tea lovers.

Clear nut brown, not much head. Burned brown sugar aroma. Starts sugary, then tea leaves flavor, in the finish and aftertaste there is some acidity. As good as you can get by combining tea and beer.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small foamy head. Fruit strawberry and raspberry along with tea in aroma. Fruits and berries along with tea (incl the dryness) in the flavour. Very pleasant. Sweet and sourish finish and aftertaste.

(Bottle 25 cl) By now I really shouldn’t let myself be surprised by anything when it comes to Belgian beers - but a tea beer?? Come on...! I guess the growing popularity of ice tea is the explanation for this, and really it is rather close to a soft drink. Clear, amber colour with a small, fizzy head. First impression is sweet and sour - sweet citrusy - but quickly I sense the tea flavours although they are rather fleeting. Not exactly unpleasant but not for every day either. 230999
