20090919 Cask at Max’s. Medium brown color with large beige head. Aromas of salty pretzel, doughy, lightly sweet. Soft carbonation. This was the bottom of the cask yet the beer wasn’t clouded at all.

Clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma had toasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Flavour was grainy with hints of butter. Finished sweet. Weird stuff.

(swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a short but persistent off-white foamy head. Light-sweet, toast-malty aroma with caramel and the distinctive herbal notes of the Lindenbräu brews from Gräfenberg. Moderately bitter flavour, quite light bodied with a solid carbonation. Soft toasted maly taste with light notes of caramel, toffee and herbs. Almost dry, toast-malty, moderately bitter finish with herbal hoppy accents. Nice brew.
