Sweetish malt and alcohol aroma. Black with little off-white head. Flavour is malt, chocolate, burnt caramel and some bitter hops. Medium-bodied. Finishes bitter with a strong alcohol tang. Not bad, but not quite there yet.

Some chocolate is in there, and even some sugar, of all things. I wouldn’t drink this again. Simply because I didn’t like it that much. The bottle has made a nice addition to my collection.

Sample at the Most Honorable SuperHappyFun Stout Tasting, thanks Dogbrick: Mmmmm Jamaican water. Remind me to throw that in the bucket with Mexican water and to never drink it again. Aroma is a stunning and grotesque complexity of chocolate, vinegar, oak, fermented red grapes, alcohol, and raw cookie dough. Mouthfeel is thin and flat, bordering on acetic. The best thing about this beer is that it plays a disappearing act on the palate and does not linger.

Sample at the Most Honorable SuperHappyFun Stout Tasting. Pours black with a medium thin tan head that recedes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Mildly roasty aroma with notes of vinegar and wine. Medium, dry body with flavors of malt, grapes and coffee. The finish is fruity with a light hops and coffee aftertaste. Below average overall.

Botle.

Black pour with a small tan head. Roasty - but also sweet, vinous, and a bit medicinal, a bit chalky. Something quite curious - like chicory, a bit like really cheap red wine. Nevertheless, this thing is actually reasonable drinkable, and it goes down very quickly, leaving me wanting more

Nearly black pour with a thin brown head. Aroma has a lot of alcohol, chocolate and a sweet, wine-like, fruitiness. Flavor is much like a chocolatey red wine as odd as it sounds. Fruity finish with lingering cherry, red grapes and booze. This one was going in about 20 different directions.
