JPDIPSO (4216), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA May 21, 2007 So this imperial "thing" has carried over to Sri Lanka. Bring it on! Light golden color with a full off-white head. Dust malt and corn aromas. Hints of alcohol mix with the corn. The longer this one warms the worse it smells. Light floral sweetness couples with pale malt and light corn syrup. A somewhat sharp middle with a lightly acidic/acetic bite that carries to the finish and linger. Full bodied and sort of silky. Finish is simple and just has a grain induced light alcohol sweetness. A malt liquor by any other name... Tmoney99 (3518), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Dec 3, 2006 Bottle. Poured clear golden color with a large white frothy head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate sweet grassy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration with no alcohol bite. Eyedrinkale (3102), Beer Town, New York, USA Jan 4, 2008 gold color with a small head. Flavor is a bit boozy with just a slight corn flavor. Second taste is getting pretty disguisting. Third taste is like novocaine. Uncle! jjpm74 (2887), Connecticut, USA Jul 30, 2008 Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of corn, some straw, alcohol. Tastes of dry malt and some hoppy hints with a boozy finish. JK (2394), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Feb 14, 2007 Much more of a malt liquor than a pale lager. Light adjunct filled aroma, and sweet corn and sugar flavor. Very sweet for a pale lager. Yellow.
