Aroma-Mild malt and hops scent. More corn and alcohol than anything else. Not much to speak of.
Appearance-Standard lager clear golden color with a quickly disappating head.
Flavor-Why reproduce mass production style lager with a higher alcohol content? idk but if this is what you are after than more power to you.
Palate-Bitter alcohol with metallic tones.
Overall-If you want to get drunk quick and you like the taste of the mass produced lagers this is the beer for you. It is not the beer for me however. cheapdark (2024), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Aug 3, 2007 Updated: Aug 3, 2008Off spoiled aroma in bottle but, in the glass it has a little sweetness added to the olfactory. Smell comes on with slight hints of strong ale. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager appearance. Has the feel of pale lager with some above average whisky added. I frowned upon lion stout so I was not looking forward to trying this because the label looks just like lion stout. For 8%, you certainly can taste the alky but it is not very abrasive, not quite in the face. Has a recently manufactured plastic hose taste that comes and goes. I know this is in the pale lager style, but it is certainly a malt liquor. Cheap american malt liquor finish. You know, the same as a strong ale but cheaper. Better than Lion Foreign Stout.

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 27, 2007 Pours a pale, golden color with no head to speak of. Smells like sweet steel and alcohol. Tastes metallic, hints of creamed corn and booze. Thin and watery, avoid. roder60 (1027), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 21, 2007 First of all this is not a normal pale lager, it is definitely a european strong laber style. Pours a clear pale gold with minimal head. Aroma sweet corn and malts. Flavor very very alcoholy and abrasive, kinda reminding me of rubbing alcohol. Drank this around a bonfire which was perfect setting for it. biggenius29 (155), Hamilton, Michigan, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 22, 2007 Bottle, poured into a pint glass. Pours light gold with a large creamy and frothy white head. There is no lacing but the head does stick around for the whole beer. Looking at the glass it is sparkling and very thin looking like a pale lager should look. There is a slight grassy and citrusy aroma with a little alcohol aroma. Takeing a taste there is a slight citrusy taste along with a hint of banana taste. The body is light with a watery texture and lively carbonation. In the finish: There is a metallic finish along with a alcoholic finish. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA
