Jan 4, 2007 Golden with a moderate head. The aroma is slightly malty and a bit sour. The flavour also is a bit malty and there is no bitterness to speak of. This is a very thin beer.

Jan 3, 2007 Lion lager has been on my radar for some time now, so I am happy that I will finally get to try it. Pours deeper yellow to amber, with a white fizy head, with no life. Vegetal aromas punch you in the groin. Freshly cut grass, an ounce of corn, eye of newt. You get the picture. Flavours are malt forward, but with no redeeming hop character, this one fails to hit the mark. Lots of creamed corn, and hay notes. Finishes without notice. C’mon guys, you brew a world class stout, and a corn class lager.

Dec 30, 2006 Bottle (Sinha gift-pack) from LCBO. Nice looking golden-orange with a good sized white head that disappears almost instantly. Aroma of sweet, grainy malt, with a hint of wet cardboard. Thin body. Sweet flavour, lots of malt, a hint of honey, vague hops in the finish. Pretty much what I expected, I guess.

Dec 30, 2006 Straw colored with minimal head, this beer barely exists. It has little aroma, negligible taste and is completely inoffensive in every way. Quite nearly water.
