This beer pours a golden color with a thin white head. Flavor and aroma are very crisp. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, husky, unclean

Pale ugly color with a frothy head. Not bad for a lager. Malty refreshing not to sweet or sour like many lagers.

625ml. Pours light straw color with a truly massive, tightly bubbled snow-white head. Dusty, skunky nose. Vacant attack, watery body, empty finish. Nothing beer.

From a 330 ml. brown bottle with a coded best before date stamped in yellow on shoulder of bottle. Poured a clear lager golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing. Aromas of sweet grainy and a light spiciness, the malts had a bit of mustiness also. Good carbonation and a softly crisp, smooth light bodied mouthfeel. Grainy with a touch of corn taste, along with a spicy herbal hops, a light lemony flavor shows up towards the end and a dry sweet grainy and spicy finish. Pretty decent drinkability at some restaurants, often the best choice. I often have this at Indian/Asian restaurants, helps tame the hot spices and chile peppers and goes well with curry dishes.

Bottle. Clear golden with medium carbonation, soapy fizzy white head. Sweet malty aroma with notes or grain and sourness. Touch of floral hops. Taste starts moderately crisply but smooths itself out quickly, leans slightly sweet; aftertaste is dry and perfumed, though. Watery with a little grass and honey. Nice and rounded. Really, not bad for the style, very inoffensive.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a small head. Aromas are corn with butter, some salt and metal. A bit skunky. Flavours are biscuit with grain, some caramel, also. Dry and fairly malty. Some citrus zest towards the finish. Slightly better than I expected.

(05.09.06) 650 mL brown bottle from DiCarlo’s, Mundelein, IL. November 2004. 4.8% ABV. Poured deep golden yellow with small white head. Soft carbonation. Sweet malt aroma. Light-to-medium bodied that starts dry with light malt sweetness and nutty corn flavor. Finished dry with light hop bitterness. Crisp and refreshing drinkable lager. Despite the fact that this is an old beer, no oxidation products were detected. This is a good lager.

Bottled. Beer is a clear medium-gold color with a large, white, frothy, mostly and rapidly diminishing head. The aroma is malty with light notes of toasted grain; no apparent hop or yeast; Heavy miscellaneous notes of corney DMS, moderate notes of honey. The flavor is moerately sweet, lightly bitter, trace acidic with an average-length, honey-DMS aftertasting finish. The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is average. Not offensive, but heavily flawed.
