Commercial Description:
We've been brewing Lion Lager in Sri Lanka since 1881. Lion Lager is made from the very best ingredients - it's malty, refreshing, and natural tasting. This is a beer of character for people of character.

ABV ranges from 4.1% to 4.8%

I think I’m unintentionally rating this higher than I would because I respect and enjoy their exceptional stout so much. This is actually quite a drinkable lager, nice golden color and frizzy (if short-lived) white head. The aroma is a bit sweet, but at least it’s not with corn. Medium bodied, well carbonated, malty, and lightly hopped, it’s fairly refreshing. But my nextr Lion will be a stout.

I never rate lagers too highly, this one could do with a little more in the flavour department and the slight apple aroma was a little light on. However it has a great soft palate, lasting carbonation, balanced sweetness. Just could do with a bit more flavour to get stuck into.

Very strange that my bottle has sinha on the label. OK, I know that is the word for lion but it is still a bit odd. Also odd is the variable ABV, mine is 4.8%. As a lager goes this is pretty mainstream without any great presence or special flavour. A reasonable lager that has a fair balance and hoppiness.

I didn’t mind it too much. I thought that it had decent flavor with a little bitter kick to it. But it did lack any aroma to it and the appearance just wasn’t there either.

Burnt Beer Night: "beer of character for people of character" Is this any thing like a "rapist’s wit"? Pale yellow color. Skunked aroma and taste with a bit of grain for good measure. Chucked this one into the lake in a hurry.

Bottled, Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear golden. Light malt sweetness with a suggested hoppiness.

Brillantly clear golden yellow with thin white head. Clean lager aroma. Nice clean flavor with good amount of flavor hops on the finish. Well made simple quaffable lager
