| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 9, 2007 Updated: May 12, 2007Cheers to Nav for sourcing this one (my initiatory Sri Lankan) from somewhere in Leicester. 625ml, 4.8% bottle labelled exclusively in French. Pale gold pour with a rapidly thinning film of froth. Sweet malty nose with hints of cabbage and polished table. Possibly some Saaz pineyness. So faintly malty it’s hardly there. Can’t be too unkind in case he doesn’t get me the Stout....would probably slide down very nicely in tropical climes...inoffensively watery malt-flavoured lager. And the bottle top is absolutely exceptional. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 10, 2007 330 ml bottle - pours gold, but not as pale as some other crappy lagers. Smells sweetly malty, but not as sweetly malty as some other crappy lagers. Tastes sweet, with a dry finish, but not as sweet as some other crappy lagers. It’s pretty crappy, but not as crappy as some other crappy lagers. Not a drain pour, for whatever that’s worth.
