nothing special. just your regular run of the mill lager. nothing more nothing less. certainly not nearly as good as the stout.

Oct 2, 2008 22oz bottle: Pale yellow body with a rising, white cap that leaves a good amount of lace. Mild aroma is pleasant and non-offensive. Light notes of straw, wheat and buttery caramel fill the nose. Spritzy carbonation. The remains mild and off-flavor free with more light caramel and straw. Finishes with a lightly grassy notes, without lending too much bitterness and overpowering the finesse of this beer. This is a pale lager that I would reach for again.

Sep 4, 2008 Pours a golden color with a minimal head. Very faint sweet aroma. Pretty thin watery beer. Drinkable.

Jul 30, 2008 Pours gold with a white head. Smells of dry malt, some peppey hints, earthy. Tastes lightly fruity with some sweet caramel hints.

May 17, 2008 Pours a dark golden colour with a full fluffy malty head. Heavy body, with a thick mouthfeel. decent beer overall, sort of raritie in my part. taste is ok.

May 10, 2008 This was dreadful- I’m positive I had an expired or skunked bottle. Tasted like battery acid and urine. Aroma was unappealing and I should have taken the hint. I would like to try this again maybe in Sri Lanka but after the long journey to North Carolina this was by far the worst import I have ever tasted.
