Bottle served extra cold in Sri Lanka. All the characteristics of the Lager with some extra poorly hidden alcohol.

courtesy of Julien Allen - slightly hazy golden colour with a little foam left; aroma of corn, apple and a touch of alcohol; sweet and slightly oily, quite thick; some tartness and lot of residual sugars with more apples, corn and a note of warming alcohol in the finish

Bottled 625ml. Appearance: It pours a fully golden beer with a decent average sized white head. Nice lacework. Aroma: Grapes, white bread, cork, nutmeg, apples and rice. Flavor and palate: Rice, apricots, cork, apples and grapes showing up. Champagne-like. The alcohol is very well hidden. Some lemongrass sneaking in? Medium to full bodied. Pepper appearing with the swallow. Huge amounts of grapes, apples and white bread in the finish. Overall impression: A pleasant surprise. This beer is underrated in my opinion.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Clear golden with a dense, off-white head leaving some lacework. Sweetish malty aroma. Quite full-bodied with sweet and sticky brewing cereal. Somewhat fusty. Alcoholic finish. 291208

Bottled (Thx. to Max for bringing this from Sri Lanka). Golden coloured. Clear. White head. Aroma of alcohol, straw, grass and some light sweetness. Flavour as well is totally dominated by alcohol. Light herbal and fruity. Medium bodied. Very heavy on the alcohol in the end.

Bottle at Madsberg tasting 2008. Pours clear golden with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma has alcohol, light malts and quite sweet. Medium carbonation, fat and sticky mouthfeel. Flavour is very sweet, very alcoholic and some maize-like maltiness. Far too strong.
