Commercial Description:
A college favorite, Lionshead carries the traditional lion symbol painted on the outside of The Brewery since the early days of brewing in Wilkes-Barre. It is a crisp, clean, easy drinking American lager-pilsner style beer made with the finest American malts, corn, and hops.

(Bottle) Pours a pale yellow color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of corn. Sweet taste, with very little in the way of hops to balance it. Moderately strong carbonation. Light palate, and pretty drinkable. Not bad for the price, but nothing special either.

Fabulous beer when one considers the following: 11$ for a case of bottles, great and smooth pilsner taste, and bad-ass Lion on the bottle. Easy to drink. only downfall ....I always felt as thought the aftertaste reminds me of blood ....

OK . . . Lionshead Lager . . . this brew is what it is. It’s inexpensive . . . yet it tastes better than the ’large’ brewery’s. Often get a case of this to augment my other micro selection. Pours a straw color, medium carbonation and head. Has a grain/corn aroma and taste. More palatable then say Budweiser, similar sweet taste but more preferable than regular Bud. Highly drinkable . . . regardless of price. Well worth a try or in the least to have around for friends to drink.

Cheap swill that is easy to drink and it will get you drunk eventually. Pale corn aroma and a hint of sweet malt. Nothing special or terrible but good for the price.

I didn’t like it. I wasn’t sure what to expect when a friend from the area gave it to me. Worse than Bud or Coors. Not good.

For what it is, this is alright. For $13 a case, it is much better than other swill. aroma is of corn and sweetness. pours slightly darker gold than other swill with generousl head. Flavor is sweet, with a little bit of bitterness, but really not much fllavor.
