Commercial Description:
A college favorite, Lionshead carries the traditional lion symbol painted on the outside of The Brewery since the early days of brewing in Wilkes-Barre. It is a crisp, clean, easy drinking American lager-pilsner style beer made with the finest American malts, corn, and hops.

ok, so this isn’t the best beer, but for the price, its amazing. if you are low on money, try it. its great to just drink and get drunk, i don’t like it as much as I used to.

Ooof. I haven’t had a beer quite like this in a while. Corny stale aroma, a bit of sulfur. Mild dull hoppiness with some grainy dusty sweetness. Beany. Clear dull yellow-gold, with thin white lacing head. Light watery body with medium-high carbonation. Not much here, really. Dull acidity from carbonic bubbliness, mild grain-corn sweetness. It is pretty smooth, but there isn’t much hoppiness to it. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it crisp, but it’s not as dull as other similar brands. Quite watery overall and no horrible off-tastes, but not a real charmer.

It’s a cheap beer ($11.65 for a case), but a cheap beer that has some flavor. It’s ahead of a Coors Light or Butt Monkey or any similarly cheap beer. Very light, with no aroma. Has some carbonation. Goes down smooth enough.

Bottle, very little to no aroma, very little taste, it was quite cheap. Nothing very special at all not enough hops to really call itself a pilsner. Well what do you expect from a deluxe pilsner beer. Kind of sweet, flabby mouthfeel pretty boring.

I think that any beer that’s is free, always taste a little bit better than it should. This isn’t a bad beer. Tastes a lot like the miajor breweries beer. Not half bad. Now I know what to ask for the next timeb I’m in Wilkes-Barre Pa.

Dear Lion Brewery, Thank you for making Lionshead so cheap. Thanks to the cheapness, I was able to consume over 50 cases of your beer in 2 months with my friend Bilbo.
