Mild dull hoppiness with some grainy dusty sweetness. Beany. Clear dull yellow-gold, with thin white lacing head. Light watery body with medium-high carbonation. Not much here, really. Dull acidity from carbonic bubbliness, mild grain-corn sweetness. It is pretty smooth, but there isn’t much hoppiness to it. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it crisp, but it’s not as dull as other similar brands. Quite watery overall and no horrible off-tastes, but not a real charmer. metsbcd (82), Connecticut, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 26, 2007 It’s a cheap beer ($11.65 for a case), but a cheap beer that has some flavor. It’s ahead of a Coors Light or Butt Monkey or any similarly cheap beer. Very light, with no aroma. Has some carbonation. Goes down smooth enough. jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Bottle, very little to no aroma, very little taste, it was quite cheap. Nothing very special at all not enough hops to really call itself a pilsner. Well what do you expect from a deluxe pilsner beer. Kind of sweet, flabby mouthfeel pretty boring. blkitson (137), Westerville, Ohio, USA

This isn’t a bad beer. Tastes a lot like the miajor breweries beer. Not half bad. Now I know what to ask for the next timeb I’m in Wilkes-Barre Pa.

Thank you for making Lionshead so cheap. Thanks to the cheapness, I was able to consume over 50 cases of your beer in 2 months with my friend Bilbo.
