Commercial Description:
A college favorite, Lionshead carries the traditional lion symbol painted on the outside of The Brewery since the early days of brewing in Wilkes-Barre. It is a crisp, clean, easy drinking American lager-pilsner style beer made with the finest American malts, corn, and hops.

Golden color, just the right amount of head and carbonation, fruity aroma, very smooth...a pretty good pale lager.

Very clear and very yellow. No real head. Grainy with a fucked up rubber band aroma. This beer is mostly horrible w/ a copper tasting aftertaste. Mouthfeel is wet.

Decent pilsner. Lingering head, good appearance. Aroma of hay. Mild corn flavor with a slight hint of diacetyl which balances it out quite well. Best bang for the buck I’ve seen in a while.

Possibly the worst beer I have ever had. Split a case with some friends in the Mechanical Testing Lab at work (hooray for grad student life) after hours. Like getting hit in the face with a bag of carbonated copper. Looks similar to diluted ice tea. Tastes like diluted industrial tailings. Smells like seawater. Despite being brewed in my home state, I’d rather go flat-ass sober than drink this beer.

12 oz bottle. Clear pale yellow with a white patch of scum. Barely perceptible nose of Wonder bread with a pinch of lemon. Spritzy carb, body a bit more than light. Taste is watery and metallic citrus with a hint of sweet corn. Not too bad.

This is your standard pilsner. It is a cheaper beer that still has a descent taste ($11.00 per case). Overall there is nothing special about this beer but if you want something that you can drink without getting that full feeling...this is a good beer for you.

No head effervescent pale straw color. The aroma is corn wheat hint of citrus and floral. The taste is thin and watery got a dry bittery finish with lots of carbonation. You can taste corn, flower lemons, hints of wheat. ragged unbalanced.

This beer is pretty much good times in a bottle and has been responsible for many of my sunday hangovers. As a pale lager you might not find anything more quenching. Once it hits your lips it feels soooo good.
