Commercial Description:
A college favorite, Lionshead carries the traditional lion symbol painted on the outside of The Brewery since the early days of brewing in Wilkes-Barre. It is a crisp, clean, easy drinking American lager-pilsner style beer made with the finest American malts, corn, and hops.

The first words of the commercial description describe this brew best. Best bang-for-your-buck out there. Great session beer for me, nothing more.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with a medium sized soapy white head. The aroma was light dry crisp floral hops. The flavor was light and dry with a vague hint of pepper and a mild floral hop presence.

This beers the best kept secret in PA it got a better taste then Bud Miller or Coors and costs about 1/2 the price for a case of bottles with cool little puzzles on the cap similar to Haffenreffer caps Thanks to my friend Walt for turning me onto this liquid gold...good mouthfeel with a little bitterness and a malty taste that finishes smooth, very easy to drink.

It is what it is. I usually pay for a 6 pack what this is for an entire case. When keeping that in mind, I’d say of the cheap beers, this one has the best taste.

It was $1.75 at a hotel bar in PA. Really not to bad. Not as metalic as the big three. Easy drinking for sure if you have no other choice.

One of the greatest cheap beers around...now that may not be much of a compliment, but the Lion has been keeping it real and kepping it local for a long time and frankly if you are going to buy Miller or Bud, buy the local stuff and drink the same stuff.

this beer is liquid gold... it goes down smooth and it ends smooth for a smooth big pimpin night. i love the smell the aroma it gives off the taste is amazing and can drink it as my only drink 7 days out of the week. it gets you in the mood to do the unthinkable, unlike a coors light, and i think this is one of the top beers of all time enough said this is such a great deal for the price, 10 dollars a case and to add to that, there in bottles you cant find a better deal than that... the only thing i have knocks on is that it gives you the orning after shits but the beer is great i love it and cant get enough of it
