Jan 19, 2006 (12oz bottle, thanks whaleman) Small white head atop a crystal clear apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, lemon/grass, some bread, light honey. Taste is medium sweet, bread, light grassy/lemon, metallic. Watery light body, some crispness. Not bad for a pale lager, just ignore the pilsner designation on the bottle.

Nov 27, 2006 GBof A PA-on tap-pours an off white head and pale straw color. Aroma is sweet grain, grassy, faint saaz hops. Taste is thin sweet grain, grassy, faint saaz hops. OK carbonation.

Sep 13, 2009 Pale straw colour with a thin white head. The nose is quite dirty over a lot of lean pale malt. Thin-bodied and without a whole lot really going on. Quite macro-esque.

Feb 11, 2007 This looks good , a clear yellowish gold with lively bubbling and a respectable fizzy white head. But the aroma is a really sweet, honeyed bread with a grassy and metallic bitterness. Sep 22, 2005 Bottle from Epps in Limerick. Pours a deeper shade of gold than many pale lagers, with aroma of pale malt, some hopcit, and some honey. Decent palate smoothness, with decent balance. Indeed, almost like a poor man’s Yuengling of sorts.

Appearance: crystal golden look , brilliant shine with mid top that was quickly reduced to fizz. No lace presented.
Nose: Honey , sweet golden malt , bit dusty , mild and fairly clean.
Flavor/Palate : mid bodied. Oily softness with clean palate of golden lager. Light mineral follow up. Proper malt shown. Good Helles.

Sep 9, 2009 Bottle from a case. Pours a pale body with a white head. Very thin and slick. Musky husky corn and dingy malt with a hint of moth and berry. Not so good.
