Liquid Bread Harvest Rye

First off, why is it 96F in the middle of September? Secondly, BIG BIG props to LB for being an oasis in the middle of the hell that is I-70 through Kansas. Onto the beer, just about crystal clear, nice tight white foam, decent lacing. Aroma is fairly light, little bit of cascade hop in there somewhere. Flavor is just pure absolute refreshment, light, but not too light, just about perfect when you’re driving cross country in a convertible and it’s f’n hot.

Pours a very pale straw with a white head. The aroma is virtually nil. The flavor is also virtually nil. There is some graininess to the flavor (which I must imagine is the rye). The malts and hops flavors are very subtle. This simply needs to be bolder and more flavorful...
