gws57 (990), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Aug 17, 2008 Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Hays, Kansas. Medium golden color with a thin white head, doesn’t look like much, very nice and balanced APA with some apple, chardonnay and flowery hops. A great example. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jul 30, 2008 A decent well structured take on the style. Cascade hoppiness, with a solid caramel malt background. Simple, but tasty with a lignering bitter finish. skoisirius (477), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 12, 2008 On tap at brewery. Very light golden see through. Mild malt and somewhat funk aroma. Flavor is mild with a nice balance between the malt and hop profiles which are both fairly minor. Nice lingering mild finish. Buttery and smooth. Decent. PhillyBeer2112 (1842), Orange Park, Florida, USA Mar 10, 2007 Golden yellow. Mild grassy hops. Flavor definitely balanced between a light cookieish malt and a zing of grassy/herbal hops. Lightly bittered, even finish. A good session. jhumphries69 (513), Tyrone, Georgia, USA Nov 13, 2006 Pours a pale gold with a white head - much lighter than I expected for the style. The aroma is nice - citrus hops (cascades). But it is muted. The flavors are also somewhat muted - good malt backbone, bitter hops, and excellent aroma of fresh hops. But a touch watered down. The mouthfeel is a bit light.
