On tap at the brewpub. Pours a fairly clear copper with no head. The aroma is a muted, burnt caramel with no noticeable hop note. Light-bodied and slick with a lightly dry finish, the flavor follows the nose. It’s a simple, but decent session brew. Reading the other reviews for this beer, it seems to be a true chameleon. Just about every rating seems to be describing a completely different beer.

Jun 16, 2008 4 oz taster at the brewpub. Pour is orangish brown with no head. Aroma of muted hazelnuts. Taste is nutty, biscuit malt and some slight pine hop bitterness to the finish. Some residual diacetyl in the after taste.

Dec 20, 2007 on tap. had a whiskey color. initial smell was coconut and caramel. had a vanilla and caramel taste. mild vanilla finish.
