theisti (1034), Leawood, Kansas, USA Jun 16, 2008 Updated: Jun 17, 20084 oz taster at the brewpub. Pour is all black with a well formed and retentive tan nitro head. Aroma of slightly sour malt and some coffee roast. Taste is coffee roastiness, some mild vanilla sweetness and milkiness. Palate seems a bit flat, that’s probably the nitro. This was decent, though. unclemike (339), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Feb 16, 2008 Poured from the tap, smelled had a fine coffee aroma, dark with a tan head loved it, one of the best stouts i have ever tasted. Great taste no aftertaste, I simply LOVED it. topherh (254), Kearney, Missouri, USA Jan 30, 2008 Pint on tap at the brew pub. Pours a dark black/brown with a thick beige head from a nitro pour. Aroma of coffee, smoke, and toast. Flavor is of toasted grain, coffee, and a hint of vanilla. A nice smooth mouthfeel due to the nitro pour.
