Commercial Description:
Little Creatures was born to make a pale ale…a specific style of pale ale, a style that we are absolutely passionate about and one that we believe displays great balance of flavour and refreshment…complex yet highly drinkable. The beer's character is driven by the use of fresh whole hop flowers. Hop Flowers are carefuly selected that are bursting with aroma and contain all the essential oils and acids that deliver an uniqe flavour experience. Drink a few pints of this beer and you'll soon become one of us…a certified "hophead" craving those crisp citrus flavours of grapefruit and passionfruit and maybe a bit of honey, all backed up with a good balance of bitterness. If you're wondering what on earth malt or hops actually are then click on the two hop characters to the left and find out more. It's not just the hops that make Little Creatures Pale Ale what it is though. Selected malts are kilned in small batches to our specifications and are used exlusively in our pale ale. Two different yeasts are used to both ferment and bottle condition the beer. The latest technology and equipment is used to maintain absolute quality control and one of the main ingredients in the pale ale has got to be the amount of passion that it takes to produce a seriously good beer...we live for it! From brewing to release, a batch of pale ale takes about six weeks, allowing for two weeks conditioning in the bottle after packaging. No artificial preservatives or additives are included, just great ingredients.

Great hop and floral aromas followed by a zesty, easily drinkable taste. A great beer for hopheads

330 ml bottle. Golden to amber color. Big white head. Aroma is hoppy and floral/fruity. The flavor is complex, with caramel malt and hops in front. Also yeast, spices, citric notes, sweet fruit, flowers and maybe a bit honey. Hopbitter finish. Would be a 4+ with more alcohol-power. As it is now, it is a bit thin. But all in all a very nice and drinkable beer, and maybe a dooropener for future hopheads.

Golden beer with a fine (rapidly diminishing) head. Lovedly smell of flowery hops. Crisp, refreshing, with lots of flowers in the body, too, like candied violets. But there is enough bitterness in here to balance the sweetness. Complex aroma, definetly something else, a nice little creature.

Bottle. A very drinkable Pale Ale. Poured a golden amber colour with a small white head. Sweet with distinctive hops and just the right amount of bitterness. Recommended.

Bottle. Creamy white head, mostly lasting. Clear and sparkling pale amber body. Heavy hoppy aroma with flowers; pleasant summer smell. Soft and creamy on palate. Initial sweet flavour blending into heavy (mostly pleasant) bitter hops finish. First beer is great... hard to drink more.

Cloudy amber in colour with a large frothy white head. Fruity aroma. Medium bodied. Sweet, passion fruit flavour. Hoppy. Dry, bitter finish. A very nice and enjoyable beer.
