ansermadide (186), Kyle, Texas, USA Mar 16, 2008 On tap just about anywhere in Austin with real beer on tap. At least everywhere I’ve been. Had this (last time) at Opal Divines yesterday amongst the SXSW mess. Poured a great head from tap, and left a pretty healthy lacing. It’s pretty mellow for an IPA, but good and well balanced with the citrus flavors. Great for when you want the hops but want something a little less bitter. I do like my west coast hops, but this one is unique. Maybe I’m just biased though. One of my local faves! drfabulous (712), Columbia, Missouri, USA Mar 9, 2008 At the Ginger Man in Austin. Nice hops. Not overwhelming and not West Coast style, but a nice IPA nevertheless. Much better than I would have expected. kidmartinek (719), austin, Texas, USA Mar 7, 2008 Updated: Apr 9, 2008Slightly cloudy, Golden amber pour, small head. Small lacing. Smells like really good sweet and bitter malt with just the right amount of balancing hops. Flavor is like sweet lightly sour malt with a good bite and bitter hop finish. Good and unique. It really is a hoppy, bitter beer, but it,,s balanced engh so it’s good, really good, actually. oreogobbler (139), Austin, Texas, USA Mar 5, 2008 Pours a deep golden orange, mildly carbonated with a fluffy thin head. Earthy aroma, hay and orange zest, a lot of citrus. Flavor is that of orange peel and pine with a smooth light bitter hops in the finish. The palate is biting but balances out in the finish. travita (737), Lewisville, Texas, USA Feb 27, 2008 On tap at the Gingerman in Ft. Worth. Golden to amber in color with a lacy decent head. Citrusy hop smell. Hoppy with a slight carmel finish. I think it should be hoppier.
