Commercial Description:
Way up in Michigans UP is a ski area called Mt. Bohemia. Hidden at the top is a powder run called Cousin Jack that winds its’ way steeply through the rocks and trees. AAAHHH WINTER! Double the Belgian malt, double the Amarillo hops - a perfect way to end any day. Everyone’s favorite Cousin!

Thanks to BBB63 for sharing this: (From a growler) Pours a dark murky amber, small white head. Aroma is full of fresh hops, all the usual good stuff. Flavor is smooth with a nice sweet malt backing to it. Hops definitely stand out nicely.

BBB63 certainly has not holds barred at the Tosa Yeha. He brought enough growlers and bottles for the whole group! Lightly hazed dark amber color with a moderate but stable off white head. Hugh fresh hops aromas, with grapefruit and fresh cut flowers. Mild malt and light fruit in the backdrop. Seems somewhat thin for all the malt and flavors present. Mild caramel and a rather sharp hops bite in the finish. Another in a full line of IIPAs that I enjoyed smelling, but was slightly let down in the flavor.

Milwaukee YEHa!05, brought via growler by BBB63. Orange-brown body, hazy, with a thin beige head. Plenty of citrus (grapefruit) in the aroma, sweet, with caramels and pine. Big perfumey bitter hops flavor, very tea-like with a hint of lemon and other citrus fruits. Before reading this uses Amarillo hops I was thinking more along the lines of the European varieties...ehh, oh well. Too bitter and piercing for my palate, but the malt sweetness did balance that out, if only slightly.

Lovely, unfiltered orangish-copper with minimal dusty jet streams serving as the head. Buoyant hard hitting aroma consisting of grapefruit pulp and papaya party, as bitters dance in the nose. Pulsating, sinus elixirs. It’s not the alcohol content - it’s just sharp. Ambitious bitterness takes an ice rake to the tongue’s top layer. Atypical malt assembly imparts corn husks and cream cheese danishes, which definitely play their part in the balance arena. Caramel substantiations and a buttery Werthers Original define a portion of the palate presence. Somewhat lucid and lucrative, but the bitters throw an after party once the clean, spicy renegade drops down the throat. Thanks for bringing the growler, BBB63!

Growler from BBB63, thanks for sharing Mike. Piney hop aroma with a huge malty base that has lots of buttery caramel. Very malty aroma. Cloudy dark copper color with a thin white head. Very nice and balanced flavor with bright grapefruit and pine flavors with a wonderful brown sugar and caramel weizen type finish. Leaves a dry, bitter feeling in your mouth. This is delightful.

From BBB63. Pours to a deep mahogany body with a thin creamy white head. The aroma is pretty hoppy. Piney and citrusy. Spicy hops. The flavor is also spicy and hoppy. Good citrus and pine. A true pleasure. The palate is medium bodied and bitter. Good. Thanks Mike!

pours a mahogony color w/ a fluffy white head and some nice thick lacing. Big piney hop aroma some flower petals and a nice carmel malt. Full palate oily and lightly creamy. Flavor is orange and citrus hopo w/ some good pine and light grass hop as well and a balanced piece of carmel. This is a good IIPA.

On tap at the Livery. This reddish-amber beer poured with a sparse off-white head, eliciting a hoppy, flowery aroma. There is a sharp, but pleasant, hoppy taste that quickly melds with the copious malt content, resulting in a very satisfying and mellow flavor.
