On tap at brewery and served in a snifter:
Murky reddish ornage hue with a small head and nice lacing. The aroma is sugary and hoppy with piney and earthy esters. The taste starts with a snappy hop bite followed by a fruity overtone and a hint of salty quality leading to a dry astrengent finish. There is a enough malt background for proper balance and a sappy nature that is interesting. The feel is lightly sticky and warming, the alcohol is still hidden well within the framework of the brew. This has a lot going for it and shows good promise for the future. Get ya some! 1FastSTi (2560), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA

Piney hop aroma with a huge malty base that has lots of buttery caramel. Very malty aroma. Cloudy dark copper color with a thin white head. Very nice and balanced flavor with bright grapefruit and pine flavors with a wonderful brown sugar and caramel weizen type finish. Leaves a dry, bitter feeling in your mouth. This is delightful. shawnm213 (938), South Bend, Indiana, USA
