Rich and dark, our vesrion of an Irish classic boasts a balanced blend of British Maris Otter Pale, Chocolate, and roasted barley malts. Finishing with a pleasing hint of English Fuggles hops, this beer is served on a nitrogen tap for the traditional creamy head.

On tap at the brewery. This dark brown beer poured from a hand pull with a creamy tan head and a chocolate aroma. Thre is a rich chocolate and plum flavor with a slight bit of sourness. It’s fairly Guinness-like, but more sour than sweet.

BPW #79 On tap at The Livery. Appearance is deep coffee brown with a small roasty brown head. The flavors and aromas are very smooth with a roasted profile that is very appealing. The mouth is wonderfully dry for the style.

Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #78 of 90. On tap at The Livery. Pours pitch black, dirty brown head...very nice appearance. Lost of dark roasted malt on the nose, and some smoke. Light mouthfeel and smooth going down. Lots of roasted malt and coffee tones. Very good.

Enjoyed on nitro at the brewpub. For an Irish stout, not too dry. Above average mouthfeel. Creamy, lacey. Good full roasting. Somewhat of sourness.

Pours a dark brown with thin tan head, lots of lacing. Aroma obvious of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, vanilla, and a bit of caramel. Flavor matches well, very creamy, but has a slight sourness that I wasn’t expecting.... anyway, pretty decent, slightly thin body, but good nonetheless.

Pours a near pitch black pour with prominent brown head that dies down, clings and laces well. Aromas are a nice creamy chocolateu sweetness with good roasty malt and coffee, initial brings on some great flavor for a roasty stout that cuts through most with good roasted malts, chocolate and pretty great coffee as the flavor slips down my throat well, medium body with a decent bitterness on the finish. A formidible stout.

Pours a rich black color from the tap at the brewery. Very classic in appearance and flavor but with notes of coffee and cured ham that help distinguish it. Probably the best beer Ive had from The Livery thus far.

Very classic dry Irish stout and one that maybe even improves upon it’s obvious inspiration. Very black pour with robust tan head, minus the reverse cascade. Big burnt barley flavors...coffee, chocolate, and roasted barley. Creamy texture and yes, even some dark roasty sweetness lurking around. Moderate hop bite in the dry finish. Pretty good clone of the original...all of the classic flavors and manages to go one better.
