Jun 7, 2008 Draft in a tulip. Lasting white head with a fairly clear orange yellow color. Citrus, grapefruit aroma. Good bitterness long lasting and drinkable. Good solid IPA.

Jun 6, 2008 In short: A juicy (grapefruits and such) hoppy blonde ale . Very refreshing

TheyThe look: Cloudy blonde body with a long-lasting medium white head.
In long: Tropical fruits covered by honey and some caramel. Very juicy floral hops with quite a bit of grapefruits and a medium tartness. Very refreshing. No alcohol presence whatsoever. Fresh crispness feeling. Nothing resinous or heavy here, this IPA more concerned about being refreshing than being a hard-core extreme bitter American IPA. To kick more ass this beer would have to served in a boot.

May 19, 2008 Snifter @ Hopcat: Wow. I thought this was fantastic. Pours a glowing, hazy orange. Smells like fresh squeezed white grapefruits. Bitterness just rolls off the tongue here. Dangerously drinkable.

May 13, 2008 Tasted 4/27/08. 6oz sampler from the brewpub. Filtered with a honey gold hue. Trace white head. Citrus and grapefruit nose. Crisp smooth and appley. Bright and fresh. WOW! Big and meaty beer. Full bodied and sticky. Lotta hoppy flavor. So nice. One of my favorites from this place.

Apr 29, 2008 Sampled at Pre-DLD gathering thanks to kmweaver. Pours a hazy orange with an off-white head. Nose is citrusy, orange, and caramelized malts. Watery body. Caramels, citrus, grass and pine flavors. The citrus and grass notes linger for a while on the tongue with a bitter finish. Decent beer.

Apr 28, 2008 Draft @ The Livery. Pours a bright, deep honey-golden color; bright white head with perfect retention and lacing that coats the glass; a gorgeous pour. Resiny, sweet oranges and citrus hops in the aroma; soft and generous and juicy. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: intensely smooth, resinous oranges, citrus, and floral hoppy notes upfront; touch of acidity; so smooth, resiny, oily and dense; intensely drinkable. Awesome IPA. Lengthy finish: resinous oranges, citrus, and a touch of sugar.

Apr 27, 2008 Updated: Aug 8, 2008growler shared by ken at flossmoor station. thanks man.... poured a clear golden amber brown with very little white head.... aroma of strong citrusy and tropical fruit hops.... flavors of citrusy hops, very smooth with very little astringency.
08/02/2008....had this again at the brwpub last weekend and ended up with the exact same score breakdown. lively and crisp citrus hops. refreshing after a long race.

Apr 26, 2008 thanks kmweaver for the sample at pre-dld gathering. pours hazy orange with white head. nose is very fruity and perfumy hop notes. flavor is much of the same, and really tasty. no alcohol noticed. a clean easy drinking iipa.
