Found it to not be a great represenation of the style. Mouthfeel was a bit on the light side. As previous rater mentioned, not much of a wheat presence. unclemattie (2425), Georgia, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 2, 2008 This poured an amber apperance with a moderate head. The aroma is toffee, caramel, and bananas. The flavor is slighty spicy with some pepper. I usually hate that but I will let it slide this damn time! Also some caramel, bananas, and vanilla. A nice beer right here. CaptainCougar (5517), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma of semi-sweet biscuity dark German malts with some black pepper and bready yeast. Body starts lightly doughy and toasty malty sweet with some citrusy hops before a drier finish. An authentic and quite drinkable dunkel-weizen. shp555 (1688), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Appearance: Pours a clearish brown body topped by a small, wispy white head.
Smell: Immensely strong-scented with aroma jam-packed with malted wheat, bananas, and fresh-ground cloves.
Taste: Toasted wheat malt and banana juice with a heavy-handed dose of clove spiciness. A bit of light brown sugar. Faint bitterness. Tangy, spicy finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Lightly carbonated.
Drinkability: A very respectable dunkleweizen. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
