On tap at The Livery; probably the pourest of the beers that I had at this solid brewery in Benton Harbor. Found it to not be a great represenation of the style. Mouthfeel was a bit on the light side. As previous rater mentioned, not much of a wheat presence.

growler from BBB63. Cloudy copper. Aroma of banana, spice. Flavors of fruit, but not much wheat. Thin mouthfeel. Light bodied.

This poured an amber apperance with a moderate head. The aroma is toffee, caramel, and bananas. The flavor is slighty spicy with some pepper. I usually hate that but I will let it slide this damn time! Also some caramel, bananas, and vanilla. A nice beer right here.

Hand-bottle from a growler thanks to BBB63: Pours a transparent copper amber with ruby hues and a spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of semi-sweet biscuity dark German malts with some black pepper and bready yeast. Body starts lightly doughy and toasty malty sweet with some citrusy hops before a drier finish. An authentic and quite drinkable dunkel-weizen.

Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a white head. Aroma is caramel, bubble gum, clove, and wonderful banana. Flavor is wheat, clove, banana, and a bitter peppery finish

Brown in color with a thin white head this had aromas of chocolate covered bananas, yeast, rock candy and spice. The palate was long and rich with the flavors from the nose following through the finish ending with spices.

Thanks a million, BBB63, for the growler! Appearance: Pours a clearish brown body topped by a small, wispy white head. Smell: Immensely strong-scented with aroma jam-packed with malted wheat, bananas, and fresh-ground cloves. Taste: Toasted wheat malt and banana juice with a heavy-handed dose of clove spiciness. A bit of light brown sugar. Faint bitterness. Tangy, spicy finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Lightly carbonated. Drinkability: A very respectable dunkleweizen.

Appearance: hazy dark red, wispy beige head,
Aroma: sweet banana and chocolate aroma,
Flavor: rich chocolate flavor, nice banana character brings in some sweetness but is restrained by an earthy and light spicy character, light bitterness in the finish,
Overall: thanks to the brewer for sending this down with BBB63 to the Atlanta crew
