bdigi66 (462), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 18, 2008 Draft: Poured at the brewpub...dark copper color with a minimal white/cream head. Caramel malts, light fruits and some subtle floral and spiced hop notes shining through. Medium bodied with a bit of an herbal, caramel and floral flavor residing. Decent brew. RAYBOY01 (1630), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 10, 2008 Deep coppery pour with no head. Somewhat syrupy looking in the tulip. Big alcohol nose, but not offensively so. Sweet dark fruits and caramel roastiness undercut later by the herbal/floral hopping that seemed pretty heavy-handed (in a good way). Damn fine effort. adrian910ss (1032), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 4, 2008 Updated: Feb 5, 2008Hand Bottled 18.7 oz bottle from BBB63. Pours a cloudy dark orange brown with no head. Aroma of faint pine needles and tangerine. Taste is flat with hints of tangerine, caramel malt, and pine. Similar to a flat yet hoppy peach flavored Snapple. Has a slight alcoholic finish to it. Not bad but would like to try this fresh. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/28/2007

cloudy orange, wispy head, light caramel aroma, sweet caramel malt flavor with lots of hop bitterness, either the growler is old or this beer is unbalanced and boring

thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 3, 2007 This gowler from BBB63 on Dark Lord Day poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy no visible carbonation brown colored body. The weak aroma was malty. The thin mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of malt and sweet. A decent one that I would consider having again.
