A soft pale ale aimed at refreshment.

I like:
Tasty without hard edges. Beautiful hazy orange colour. Toasty, strawy malts aim directly at refreshment. Yeasty for a pale ale, but clean. Easy-drinking all along. Lasting soft leafy hop profile.

Probably the least original beer I’ve tried at The Livery. It does not fit the crowd. Quickly fading head.
kmweaver (2212), Sparks, Nevada, USA Sep 19, 2008 Draft @ the Livery. Pours a hazy, honey-orange color; off-white head with mixed-bubbled lacing. Toasty malts, tart citrus; crisp and dry aroma; some light mineral bitterness. Medium mouthfeel: toasty, crisp maltiness, crackers, and citrus bitterness; balanced, slightly oily profile overall; a solid, crisp, toasty pale ale rendition; tasty with a slight British character throughout. Medium finish: toasty malts, earthy resiny hops, and some slight fruitiness; solid beer overall. jstraw (514), Oak Park, Illinois, USA Aug 11, 2008 Hazy amber with good, creamy white head / Light caramel & dry hop nose / LIght to medium body, balance of malts with hops, with good dry hop finish / Flavors of toasted grain, caramel, and dry hops, with light note of grapefruit / Very nice in a lighter, dry style. RAYBOY01 (1654), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 10, 2008 Coppery pour and medium white head. The nose is pretty mild herbal/citrus hops, and roasted caramel malts. So goes the flavor...a bit timid with the hop scoop, but that’s just me. Silphium (2041), Lansing, Michigan, USA Jul 28, 2008 On tap at HopCat, Grand Rapids. Clear amber body, thin off-white head. Leafy and bitter body, toasty and grassy with very light sweetness. Somewhat watery and bland. The Livery turns out a number of hoppy beers, but this was one of the weaker ones I’ve sampled.
