GTMW 08 - Pours pale yellow with a white head. The aroma has pale lightly toasted malt and a minor amount of hops. Medium / light body with semi-sharp carbonation. The taste has toasted malt, light caramel, grassy hops and a bit of spice. The finish dries things out a bit. Decent pils.

Pretty golden pour and moderate fluffy white head. The bready/biscuity malt sweetness is extremely well balanced here by the substantial clean and crisp herbal hop bitterness. Quite nicely done.

Draft sample at brewpub. Poured clear copper color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Good citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body. Good well balanced hoppy flavor with a moderate smooth balanced bitter finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable beer.

In short: A fresh and juicy Pilsner. Almost too drinkable.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Cloudy light blonde body topped by a little white ring of foam.
In long: Full bodied with a generous amount of pils. Malts are mostly dry grassy with a little fruity too with notes of citrus fruits and grapefruits. Bitterness is very mild, finish a more juicy than dry. An overall freshness feeling somewhat reminiscent of the fresh pils I was drinking in Czech Republic. I don’t know what Fred’s misfortunes but he found a mean to forget about it.
