33cl bottle t home: Pours a cloudy copper orange with a fading tainted white head. Aromas of orange flesh, apples, yeast and sugar. Touches of bread or toast underneath the sweet fruit. Slight herbal, that could be hop derived, floats around just under some alcohol that can be quite hot when swirled up. Some spice and a strange chemical note that seem slightly pineappley get more noticeable as the beer sits. Big sweet honey-on-toast flavors dominate before a spice and alcohol mixture push their way in. CO2 adds a sting on top of this "spicy alcohol". Quite hot at the end. Some tin notes thats blend right into an oxidized cardboard flavor. Caramel malts become heavy after a while. Flavors seem a little at odds with eachother at times. Alcohol is just too hot in the middle (but ok through the rest). Medium-full body and a bit sticky at times.

750ml corked bottle that’s been sitting around for some time. Aroma marmalade, pepper, earthy citrus, alcohol, metal, apple peel, honey, conifer. Light banana esters if you’re looking for them. Deep amber hanging densely with bits, off-white halo, alcohol bitterness, some warmth. Antiseptic honeyish notes, watery esters, boozy apple afters. Too much metal. Thin and rusty. Smells great, but expect much more from a 10% Belgian I’ve been cupboarding for a couple of years.

(Dégusté avec french tickler) Une biere blonde avec un mince collet moyennement collant. Odeur de peches, caramel et framboises. Gout sucré, alcohol et de noix. Une biere tres bien équilibré. Belle découverte!

App.: Cloudy golden poor, thin peach like head.

Aromas: Curacao, peaches, light toffee, caramel, coriander

Palate: Hoppy bitter explosion but nicely balanced, sweet, medium body... zesty

Flavors: Peaches, toffee, hoppy, orange zest

Notes: Amazing balance - great hoppy bitterness, impressive!

Hazy honey gold hue, with a frothy white head, yeasty, fruity nose of ripe apples, with some faint honeyed pale malts, and a hint of floral hop citrusy in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, sweet honeyed pale malt character, with a warmth alcoholic mouthfeel, a light cereal grainy accent, a hint of vanilla, leading towards a honeyish warming finish.

Light unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, complex, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet and vineouse. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish is light alcoholic. (Bottled, BBE 08/2009, thanks TBone!)Opaque orange with a small, firm, mostly vanishing head. Strongly orange-honey-fruity aroma with some yeast. Orange-fruity flavor with grainy, pale maltiness, and some slightly burning, sweetish-acidic alcohol presence. Medium-bodied, warming palate with pretty low, but slightly fizzy carbonation. A decent, orange-accented Belgian Strong - but still miles away from Dulle Teve (the benchmark 10% Belgian Strong blond ;) complexity-wise.
