rederic (1500), montréal, Quebec, Canada Jul 18, 2008 Hazy honey gold hue, with a frothy white head, yeasty, fruity nose of ripe apples, with some faint honeyed pale malts, and a hint of floral hop citrusy in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, sweet honeyed pale malt character, with a warmth alcoholic mouthfeel, a light cereal grainy accent, a hint of vanilla, leading towards a honeyish warming finish.
BoBoChamp (794), Gent, Belgium Nov 21, 2008 33cl, from De Bierloods Adegem, complex brew, not balanced, yet heavy, hazy, good head, nice brew BMan1113VR (1123), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Nov 17, 2008 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Marked as best by 08/09. Pours with a largish, off-whute head and a hazy yellow body and good lacing. Aroma is butter with some peanut butter, caramel and toaste. Taste is full of diacytel, butter and metal with a bit of wet dog musk and some biscuts. A bit astringet. Fizzy and creamy with noticable alcohol. mar (728), Dallas, Texas, USA Nov 15, 2008 bottle thanks to bu11zeye. murky brown with no head. musky scent with some yeast. thick on the palate with a very musky, earthy finish. beerbuzzmontreal (2769), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Oct 18, 2008 The pour reveals a cloudy orangey golden color with a medium, bubbly, white head. Aroma of citrus and doughy, bready yeast. The flavor has a sharp presence of oranges, the yeast is also there, but not as much present as in the aroma. The body is light to medium with a slightly oily texture and slightly expansive carbonation. Interesting.
