The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also hints of yeast. The flavor is also sweet with notes of caramel, but in the flavor the yeast is clearly noticable. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 10, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Pale, hazy, golden beer with a decently sized, creamy head. Sweetish malt in the beginning but then you get to feel the hops - and this is one hoppy beer. Some yeasty, earthy notes. Decent ale if not exactly spectacular. 040399 fonefan (11891), VestJylland, Denmark

Hazy orange color with small steady white head. Honey, mango and some papery hops in reasonably strong nose. After this kind of aroma, beer is drier than expected. Packed with alcohol and some fruityness and spiceyness. Alcohol is warming, but not dominating. Dry finish with papery notes (hops?). A bit too simple palate, although it is decent brew (tripel I would say). bierkoning (6097), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2003 Creamy head, honey color. Malty aroma with a hint of honey. Malty flavor, hops are present, but the alcohol dominates. Just a hint of licorice. Maybe a bit sharp, there is some resemblance to a Kapittel Abt. I like this beer!
