A hazy amber beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also hints of yeast. The flavor is also sweet with notes of caramel, but in the flavor the yeast is clearly noticable.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pale, hazy, golden beer with a decently sized, creamy head. Sweetish malt in the beginning but then you get to feel the hops - and this is one hoppy beer. Some yeasty, earthy notes. Decent ale if not exactly spectacular. 040399

Bottle @ home.
Light unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, complex, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet and vineouse. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish is light alcoholic. Bottle. Asparagus aroma, reminding me of super strength lager. Golden colour, white big-bubbled head. Sweet, peppery flavour.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour, huge beige head. Aroma is fruity, spicy, slightly earthy and some mild alcohol too. Flavour is warming alcohol, spices, fruits and some bitterness. Pleasant.

Cloudy orange color; giant creamy head. Dry, Tripel aroma; pine needels. Well structured, quite malty, some cork; strongly bitter, far over the average. Traditional, good one; my favorite by Van Eecke.

Bottled (BB 08/2009)
Hazy orange color with small steady white head. Honey, mango and some papery hops in reasonably strong nose. After this kind of aroma, beer is drier than expected. Packed with alcohol and some fruityness and spiceyness. Alcohol is warming, but not dominating. Dry finish with papery notes (hops?). A bit too simple palate, although it is decent brew (tripel I would say).

Creamy head, honey color. Malty aroma with a hint of honey. Malty flavor, hops are present, but the alcohol dominates. Just a hint of licorice. Maybe a bit sharp, there is some resemblance to a Kapittel Abt. I like this beer!
