Cloudy orange color; giant creamy head. Dry, Tripel aroma; pine needels. Well structured, quite malty, some cork; strongly bitter, far over the average. Traditional, good one; my favorite by Van Eecke.

Bottle - 330ml. Hazy golden body with low carbonation and a thin off-white foamy head. Complex malty/hoppy aroma that carries fruity, yeasty and herbal notes. Alcohol is well hidden. Taste is very well balanced and ends with a long, warming bittersweet finish. Very enjoyable!

Gets maximum appearance points for the coolest label ever, featuring some confused looking 85 year old man with a moustache and top hat. Beer-wise it’s orange-tan colour with huge amounts of nice chewy organisms swimming around in it. strong, doughy, orange peel aromas. quite thick on roof of mouth - peanutbutterish. smooth and a bit salty, and you don’t really notice the alcohol until after you finish and you try to stand up.

Light lemon and orange aroma. Golden color, large white head, good lace. Bitter, sparkling, hoppy, orange, lemon. Sweet and round finish with the alcohol well present.

Aroma reminds me of a Saison. The main difference is the noticeable alcohol. Aroma is spicy, yeasty and fruity (apple). Cloudy, yellow coloured with a short, lasting, white head. Taste is yeasty, malty, fruity, bitter and sweet. Sticky and alcoholic. IMO this beer could be better with less alcohol.
