SaintMatty (549), Tallinn, Estonia Jan 31, 2008 1l bottle (KBSPBSBF08 -best beer of the festival by far!)- Pale golden in colour. The smell is mildly alcoholic with an attractive but not very unusual aroma. The taste is not quite as alcoholic as the aroma suggests and is quite malty and pleasant. Does not leave a horrible aftertaste and actually tastes like this has been brewed properly unlike most of the pale Livu beers. Pale gold, small brief head. Sweet slightly perfumed aroma. Soft malty taste, almost as if it had some vanilla. Slight tang of both hops and alcohol, but the 7% is quite well hidden. And even though I say "soft" it’s not thin - it’s quite full bodied. Maybe Livu’s best tasting brew.
